Brittany Bosco is a visionary Atlantan musician who’s look is not coincidently Grace Slick-esque, so thus appropriately she’s grabbed her synth pop sound by the balls and sneers in its face. And despite its glamorization of cig smoking (bleh), this beautiful video directed by supadope for Boombox Films sexes up the track just enough.

Like I said, so many covers and remixes these days. Wye Oak covered Brenda Lee’s Christmas Will Be Just Another Lonely Day. Jenn Wassner totally fits this and gives a wonderful performance live. Wye Oak has been doing very well lately, and well deserved.

Been hearing the band name 2:54. Finally got around to checking them out. London indie rock duo 2:54 is very shoegaze waily and grungy. The shoegaze side of it reminds me a little of Silversun Pickups. Totally digging these few trax below that I’ve listened to so far. I can see what some of the buzz is about. And what’s with all the forest music videos lately? I swear music...
